In an effort to get our nerd on, mom and I went to Questacon, which is the science museum here in Canberra. It is an interactive, hands on science museum covering all aspects of science from sea life, geo-science, physics, math and loads more. It would have been totally perfect except we evidently chose a day when a bus load of school children descended on the place rendering it inhospitable. Some were cool, most were...kids. The boys were more interested in trying to break the exhibits than learning anything and the girls just sat around and giggled. Aside from getting shoved out of the way to allow the unchaperoned children to get a go at the exhibits, it was very educational. (Who turns kids loose in a museum without ANY supervision? That just crazy!)

This was a really fun day and we got to see tons of cool stuff.
