Canberra Multicultural Festival

As is the norm in a "melting pot" there are representatives of many nations here in Canberra.  Being the capital, there are people from many nations all working here at their own embassies or even as ex-pats who loved it so much here they stayed after their tour was over.  To celebrate the variety of cultures here in Canberra, the city hosts a multicultural festival once a year.  This year, Gina, Julius and LilyAnn were here so we all went.  They had demonstrations of dancing, cooking and more from multiple countries.

Its an ORANGE JULIUS!!!!  LOL!!

They say everythings bigger in Texas but check out these flys.....

Lily put her beach face on.  We figured out that she isnt too fond of the heat.

Heaps of people everywhere!

Lunch at Smoque.  It was "allegedly" Texas BBQ.  It tasted good, but it was cut WRONG-SO TOUGH! But this is the only place in Canberra that has DR PEPPER on the menu!

This was a living statue in the square.  He was funny.
